Problems for Devinuwara fishing community

Devinuwara is a very famous for fishing industry. So many labours working in the Devinuwara harbour. Devinuwara harbour was developed after the Tsunami. But still fishermans in this area are facing lots of problems.

Infrastructure facilities in Panakaduwa

Panakaduwa is an ancient village belongs to the Pasgoda DS Division. People who are living in this area are facing so many infrastructure difficulties. Specially they don’t have proper road facilities, Education facilities, health facilitiesand etc.

පස්ගොඩ ප්‍රදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයට අයත් පනාකඩුව ‍ෛඑතිහාසික ගමකි. මෙහි ජනතාව ය‍ටිතල පහසුකම් රැසක් නොමැතිව ගැටළු රැසකට මුහුණ දෙති. මාර්ග, අධ්‍යාපන, සෞඛ්‍ය, යටිතල පහසුකම් ආදී පහසුකම් නොමැතිකම මෙහි ජනතාවට මුහුණදීමට සිදුව තිබෙන ගැටළු අතර ප්‍රධාන වේ.

Effort taken by the police to protect rights

Koramburuwana, Ransegoda rural villages are belongs to the Mulatiyana DS Division. Kamburupitiya police has organized a program to protect rights of people who are living in these areas like providing health facilities, starts awareness programmes of rights, resolving problems, etc.. Purpose of this program is protecting people’s rights and build up good connection between police and people in rural level.

කොරඹුරුවාන, රන්සෑගොඩ වැනි ගම්මාන මුලටියන ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ පිහිටා තිබෙන දුෂ්කර ගම්මාන කිහිපයකි. මෙහි ජීවත්වන ජනතාවගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් සුරකීමට කඹුරුපිටිය පොලීසිය මගින් වැඩසටහනක් සංවිධානය කර තිබුනි. මේ අනුව සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා පහසුකම් ලබාදීම, මෙතෙක් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන මගින් නොවිසදුනු ගැටළු විසදීම, අයිතිවාසිකම් පිළිබද දැනුවත් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහන් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම ආදී වැඩසටහන් රැසක් අදාල ප්‍රදේශයතුල ක්‍රියාත්මක විය. ග්‍රාමීය මට්ටමින් ජනතාවගේ අයිතිවාසිකම් සුරකීම හා පොලිස් සේවය මහජනයාට වඩා මිත්‍රශීලී සේවාවක් බවට පත්කිරීම මෙහි අරමුණවී තිබුනි.

Water facility for Ransegoda people

Ransegoda area is belongs to the Mulatiyana DS Division. More than 60 families are living in this area. Last 20th June 2010 we discussed about water problem in this area through our 74th LVR program. After the program Mulatiyana DS Division planning to solve this problem. People living in Ransegoda saying they got water facility because of our LVR program.

මුලටියන ප්‍රාදේශිය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ රන්සෑගොඩ අක්කර 18 ප්‍රදේශයේ ජනතාව මුහුදෙණ පානීය ජල ගැටළුව පිළිබදව ජූනි 20 වැනිදා ප්‍රජා හඩ 74වැනි ‍වැඩ සටහනෙන් පෙන්වාදෙන ලදී. වැඩසටහනෙන් පසුව මෙම ප්‍රදේශයට පානීය ජලය ලබාදීමට මුලටියන ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම්කාර්යාලයේ අවධානය යොමුවී තිබේ. මේවනවිට එම කටයුතු සිදුකරමින් පවතී. ප්‍රජා හඩ වැඩ සටහන නිසා තමන්ට ජල අයිතිය ලැබුනු බව අක්කර 18 ජනතාව පවසයි.

Dancing is a very important art. Some kind of dancing are very old and traditional. But in the present these arts are leaving from our society. Anybody doesn’t care about these artists. The Government didn’t start any proper program for dancing artists welfare.

නර්තනය මානසික සුවය ලබාදෙන කලාවකි. පාරම්පරිකව නර්තන කලාව පැවතෙමින් තිබේ. නමුත් මේවන විට පහතරට නර්තන සම්ප්‍රධාය සමාජයෙන් ඈත්වෙමින් පවතී. පාරම්පරික පහතරට නර්තන ශිල්පීන් පිළිබදව කිසිදු අවධානයක් යොමුනොවී පවතී. රාජ්‍ය මැදිහත්වීම ප්‍රමාණවත්ව නොලැබේ. නර්ථන ශිල්පීන්ගේ සුභ සාධනය වෙනුවෙන් කිසිදු වැඩ පිළිවෙලක් ක්‍රියාත්මක නොවේ. පහතරට නර්තන කලාවේ මාතර සම්ප්‍රධාය පාසල් විශය නිර්දේශයෙන්ද ඈත්වෙමින් පවතී.

Administrative problems

Estate people are mostly living in Galle and Matara districts. They are facing lots of administrative problems. Specially they have to face so many problems because still they didn’t get their national identity cards and birth certificates. So they are facing so many difficulties. Officers in that area didn’t take any solutions for this.

ගාල්ල හා මාතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයන්හි වතු ජනයා වැඩි වශයෙන් ජීවත් වෙති. මෙම ජනතාව මුහුණ දෙනු ලබන පරිපාලනමය ගැටළු බොහෝය. ජාතික හැදුනුම්පත් නොමැතිකම, උප්පැන්න සහතික නොමැතිකම නිසා විවිද ගැටළුවලට මුහුණදීමට මෙම ජනතාවට සිදුව තිබේ. මේ නිසා ඡන්ද අයිතිය, බැංකු කටයුතු, වෙනත් පරිපාලනමය අවශ්‍යතාවන් ඉටුකරගැනීම මේ ජනතාවට අසීරුවී තිබේ. වතු අධිකාරි වරුන්ගේ හා ප්‍රදේශයේ පරිපාලනය භාරව කටයුතු කරනු ලබන නිළධාරීන්ගේ උනන්දුව ප්‍රමාණවත් නොවීම මෙයට සෘජුව බලපා තිබෙන බව වතු ජනතාව පවසති.

Informal Development in Urubokka

Urubokka situated in Pasgoda DS Division and it’s in Matara District. It’s 60 KMs far from Matara. In the present there is no bus stand and road facilities in this area. Also infrastructure facilities are doesn’t develop for long time. People are requesting from the government to do quick development programs to this village.

මාතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පස්ගොඩ ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ ඌරුබොක්ක නගරය පිහිටා ඇත. මාතර සිට 60 Km දුරක් පවතී. ඇඹිලිපිටිය නගරයේ සිට 34 Km කි. යටිතල පහසුකම් කිසිවක් මෙහි සංවර්ධනයවී නොමැත. තේ අ‍ාර්ථිකය මත පදනම්වු නගරයකි. දැනට මෙම නගරයේ බස් නැවතුම්පොල, මාර්ග පහසුකම් කිසිවක් නොමැත. නගරයට පැමිණෙන ජනතාව‍ට ගැටළු රැසකට මුහුණදීමට සිදුවෙති. නගරයේ පවතින ඉඩපහසුකම්ද ප්‍රමාණවත් නොවේ. නගරය තුල කඩිනම් සංවර්ධන වැඩපි‍ළිවෙලක අවශ්‍යතාව නාගරිකයන් පෙන්වා දෙති.

Informal Bus Service

Penetiyana and Bathalehena are two rural villages in Weligama. People’s transportation needs are controling by the Akuressa depo. There is a one bus running from Akuressa to Weligama through Penetiyana and Bathalehena villages. This bus have to run one trip after 6 p.m. but it’s not running on time. Because of this problem people who coming to Matara, Galle, Weligama are having huge problems when they going back to their homes.

පැනෑටියන හා බතලහේන ග්‍රාමීය ප්‍රදේශයන් දෙකකි. මෙම ප්‍රදේශවල ජනතාවගේ ප්‍රවාහන අවශ්‍යතා සපුරාලනු ලබන්නේ අකුරැස්ස ඩිපෝව මගිනි. අකුරැස්ස සිට පැනෑටියන, බතලහේන හරහා වැලිගම දක්වා බස් රථයක් ධාවන කෙරේ. නමුත් මෙම බස් රථය සවස 6න් පසුව එක් ගමන් වාරයක් ධාවනය කිරීමට තිබුනද එය නියමිත වේලාවට ධාවනය නොකරයි. මේ හේතුවෙන් ගාල්ල, වැලිගම හා මාතර වැනි ප්‍රදේශවලට පැමිණ නැවත නිවෙස් බලා යන ජනතාවට විවිද ගැටළුවලට මුහුණදීමට සිදුව තිබේ. මේ පිළිබදව අකුරැස්ස ඩිපෝව දැනුවත් කිරීමෙන් පසුව ඉක්මන් විසදුම් ලබාදීමටද තීරනය කර ඇත.
