Transport problems in Deniyaya Sellakanda Estate
Sellakanda tea estate is in Kotapola DS Division. Most of people are labours in this tea estates. People have to enter to this estate through a canel. But this bridge is destryoed by the flood in year 2003. There is a temporary bridge, but it’s not strong. So people in this area are facing so many transportation problems.
සෙල්ලකන්ද වතු කොටපොල ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ පිහිටා තිබෙන වතු යයකි. මෙහි වැඩි වශෙයන් ජීවත්වෙනු ලබන්නේ තේ ආර්ථිකයෙන් යැපෙන වතු කම්කරු ජනතාවක්ය. මෙම වත්තට පිවිසීමට සිදුව තිබෙන්නේ දොළ පාරක් හරහාය. නමුත් 2003 වර්ෂයේ පැවති ගංවතුර තත්වය නිසා මෙම දොළ හරහා ඉදිකර තිබු පාලම විනාශවී ඇත. ඒ මත කිසිම දෙයක් ප්රවාහනය කිරීමට නොහැක. දැනට ලෑලිවලින් තනාගත් තාවකාලික පාලමක් මතින් පාගමින් ගමන් කරයි. මීට අමතරව ප්රදේශය තුල ප්රවාහන ගැටළු රාශියක් තිබේ.
