Flower sellers
Matara Bodhiya is a very famous and ancient temple in Matara. So many devotees comes to the Matara Bodhiya daily. There are some flower sellers near this bodhiya and they were selling flowers to the devotees and they earn money. These people are saying they don’t have a proper place to sell their flowers. Matara Bodhi Arakshaka Sabhawa and Matara Municipal Council has not given a solution for this yet.
මාතර ෛඑතිහාසික බෝධිය වැද පුදාගැනීමට දෛනිකව බොහෝ බැතිමතුන් පැමිණෙති. මෙසේ පැමිණෙන බැතිමතුන්ට මල් විකිනීම ජීවනෝපාය කරගත් පිරිසක්ද බෝධිය අසල සිටිති. ජීවත්වීම සදහා ආර්ථිකය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම මොවුන්ගේ ප්රධාන අභිප්රාය වී තිබේ. මල් වෙළදාම් කිරීමට මාතර බෝධ්ය අසල් ස්ථීර ස්ථානයක් නොමැතිබව මොවුන් පෙන්වාදෙති. මාතර නගර සභාව මෙන්ම මාතර බෝධ් ආරක්ෂක සභාවෙන් තම ගැටළුවලට නිසි විසදුම් ලබා නොදෙන බව පෙන්වා දෙති.
