Economic and Agrarian situation in Kalawewa people
Paddy farming is the main income of villagers in Kalawewa. Also they are doing fresh water fishing and chena cultivation for their livelihood. But they have very less facilities for their day to day lifes.
අනුරාධපුර කලාවැව ප්රදේශයේ ජනතාව කලාවැව ආශ්රිතව ජීවත්වෙති. කලාවැව ආශ්රිත මිරිදිය ධිවර කර්මාන්තයත්, වී ගොවිතැනත් සිදුකිරීම ප්රධාන ජීවනෝපාය මාර්ග බවට පත්ව තිබේ. නමුත් ජීවන තත්වය ඉතා පහත්මට්ටමක පවතින බව දැක ගැනිමට පුළුවනි.
