Land problem in Kebithigollewa Mahanikawewa Village
Kebithigollewa District Secretariat Division is a very rural DS Division in Anuradhapura district. Also this village was war effected village. In the war period so many people lost their lifes and properties. People who are in villages near the Kebithigollewa (Yakawewa, Halmilawetiya, Mahanikawewa) have mental stress because of the war. Now the war is end and government started to measure the Padaviya forest. So because of this measuring issue people who are in this area (specially in Mahanikawewa) loosing their home lands. Because government saying these lands belongs to the Padaviya land. So again these poor villagers are facing a huge problem with their land right.
අනුරාධපුර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ කැබිතිගොල්ලෑව ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාශයේ ඇති මහනිකවැව ගම්මානය ත්රස්තවාදී තර්ජන පැවති දුෂ්කර ගම්මානයක්. බොහෝ දෙනාගේ ජීවනෝපාය මාර්ගය වී තිබෙන්නේ ගොවිතැන. යුද්ධයෙන් පසු පදවිය රක්ෂිතයේ මැනීම් කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීමත් සමගම මහනිකවැව ගම් වැසියන්ට සිය ඉඩම් අහිමිවීමේ තත්ත්වයක් උද්ගත වී තිබෙනවා.
